Chris Highlining

Hi, I’m Chris. I’m 24 years young and I have been training parkour for over 9 years. Before parkour I practiced tae kwon do, skateboarding, and obsessively watched kung fu films. One day while searching Jackie Chan videos on the internet I stumbled across Speed Air Man by David Belle and have been hooked on parkour ever since. Besides parkour, I also like to practice yoga, rock climbing, and highline/slackline. My other interests include earth skills, minimalism, camping, and travel.

I grew up in Oklahoma city and was largely responsible for starting the parkour scene there. I founded Oklahoma Parkour Association in 2007. I taught private and group classes, organized Jams, and lead weekly conditioning classes for several years before being sponsored by American Parkour and team Sanjuu. I was fortunate enough to get a few parkour jobs one of which sent me and a group of friends on a promotion deal around India for a month. Since then I have been traveling and training with hundreds of amazing athletes and adventurers from all around the world. I feel very fortunate to be where I am today and teaching parkour at Apex is a large part of it.
