This class teaches the fundamentals of breaking AKA break dance, with an emphasis on power-moves, freezes, and tricks/blow-ups. Students will be introduced to basic technique and foundation, gain strength and flexibility, and learn what it takes to master moves including but not limited to: handstands, hand hops, elbow balance, head freezes, head spins, baby freezes, basic stack combinations, roll ups, back spins, windmills, flares, 90’s, chairs, etc, as well as transitions and creativity in order to perform complex sets. As with any discipline the key to success is practice and persistence. You must learn to crawl before you can fly. All skill levels welcome, progress at your own rate, and remember to have FUN!
